The Clerk is the archivist for the Township. The Clerk maintains records for the Township as well
as the Road District. The Clerk is also a non-voting member of the Board of Trustees and is empowered to keep minutes of
all Board meetings, and any hearings duly called by state statute and to publish or post notification of such
meetings or hearings. He or she works closely with the County Clerk for voter registration as well as polling
places within the Township. The Township Clerk is also responsible for putting together various bid packages, publishing
of proper notices and holding the bid openings.
With the interest in early voting
becoming more popular, starting with the November 2008 General Election, our Township Offices will provide Inperson Early
Voting Services. This program is offered as a convenience to New Lenox citizens.

New Lenox Township regular meetings of its Board of Trustees:
These meetings will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the New Lenox Township Office Building, 1100 South Cedar Road,
New Lenox, Illinois.
The Annual Meeting of the Town Electors for this Township shall take place at 6:30p.m. on the 10th day of
April, 2012, at the New Lenox Township Office Building, 1100 South Cedar Road, New Lenox, Will County, Illinois.
Notice of any special meetings of the Board of Trustees or the Electors shall be given as required by statute.
