Stormwater Services

New Lenox Township holds a General National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit from the Illinois EPA for stormwater discharges from its municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4).  To protect water quality, the MS4 Permit requires that the Township develop and implement a stormwater management program designed to reduce the discharge ofpollutants from its stormwater system to the maximum extent practicable. Links are provided below to the Township’s MS4 Stormwater Management Plan, Notice of Intent to comply with the MS4 Permit, and annual reports.
